MY Birdcage card Holder

This is the card holder I mentioned a few posts ago that I purchased at "THE PLUM TREE " - HOpe these pics are not blurred
I do so love the little bird on top, and the vintage distressed look - the little distressed clothespins came with it - Really always loved birds and collected many --even those in porcelain by SAdek --in the 80's -- BUt now focused on NEST things a lot too .
I added only a few cards etc - so you could really see it . I have so many things I want to put on it - I love to be surrounded in my art room by things created by other artist that I admire, or by fav. things from Friends and swaps .
I am such a visual person and thereby a little cluttery . My motto - "more is MOre " lol when it comes to creating -- always wanting to add a few more touches .
The key is knowing when to stop -- but I have never been known as a
minimalist -- Be it jewelry , shoe bling or loving makeup --
YA! know here in the south we say "IT's a Girl THANG !!lol

Yapping Cat & PLUM TREE finds

WHAt fun I had Yesterday -- Drove to one of my favorite shops -- THe PLUM TREE _ formerly owned by Dawn - of the "Feathered Nest "-- Her partner still stocks some great finds --Dawn mentions her on her blog -- and shows her great finds -
I was so excited to find some mixed media things I love to use -- and great prices too --a scrabble board -- a complete Bingo set soem old social security time cards -- the scale in the back showed the largest amount on the table which was $2-
and I got this great stamp holder -- I had been looking for one for a long time --
was so doing the happy dance !!__ I think i will darken the silver handle in the middle -- can't wait to clear my desk - and get out the other stamps to hang on it -- The new Tim HOltz ones for alcohol inks - will fit also __I bought an old one also --So truly happy with that find --
The cutest NEW thing I bought - not pictured --I wan to get it hung up first --
was a metal gate -with a distress look with -a Bird perched on it -- and old clothespins to hold my paper tag or card favorites --
Need to make my Lemon cake -- and a pasta salad -for the friends yearly 4th cookout - HOpe you have a safe and fun day !

Christmas in JUNE ? -- JULY ?

Have been sick with that respiratory thing --that HUB had -He had DR's meds twice to get well -- I guess mine is not as bad altho it has felt like a cement block
on my chest and Can't hear out of my right ear as well - hearing the ocean sound --
but that is not good , unless you are at the beach - WAH -need to go soon !--24- 7 --and a back issue , so sifting and redoing all my books delayed -- don't know what i did -- Also had my sweet Grands a couple of days -the sweetest - -- BUT !!
I have been participating in the Winterwonderlandchallenge --aND am reved up to create Christmas -- (my fav )things -- so not waiting for the traditional
Christmas in July - sales or doings -- skipping all the others like "Independence Day "- Halloween etc -and going straight to Christmas -- altho I am
working on the Independence Craft idea for Kids at the "mission for Sunday --
