The Catching up Issue -- or a mish mash of projects

I am so far behind on my blog -- and I truly had good intentions --of posting often -
So here are some random things I have been up to
and trying to play catch-up on my blog .
Between 3 times a week therapy not whining -doing well
others have worse - and am truly " Blessed " to be doing pretty well -
With therapy Grands -fun with spring break and a short trip
I am throwing everything but the kitchen sink in .
What fun to make these ideas for the ideas in the Bellatoria zine -
I made several just as presented , but want to make bunches
with a different twist and layers -- Some i shared with others -- the idea
was to make a garland -- but alas these wer all that was left -
we got to play with matches -- kinda scary but a neat twist,
using gossamer fabric and layering

These sweet girls have such darling faces -
my sweet friend Vikki -- in Iowa received the pink one
, buttons and tea dyed lace are one of my faves now . It seems
they creep into all my creations .

These are the items i sent to my Queen's tea swap
partner . I made the dimensional journal in the
back and added lots of layered items -even a stickpin and lace,
The box below I painted and stamped in sepia ink with a lace
handmade stamp -- I love those you heat with
the embossing heat gun and press items into it .
I have used the lace one for 3 years -- and it still looks great --
You can reheat them and press any item into them -
kinda crazy -- bought several years ago - Not sure if they are still sold
or not , but you can get amazing background patterns
by using them , Those are silk roses and two giant buttons layered and my
new fav -tulle , plus seam binding ( ANYONE KNOW
where you can find it in cream on a large roll ??) -- I love them on everything --
especially at Halloween with black and orange tulle
tied on tags etc

This explosoion card on the Bella class is so fun -- this
also was filled with little tags and embellies for Vikki -
and now even Michael's ahs angel wing charms - too delightful
of course the pins and browns and aqua and browns
look so good together -- they will cease making them - sigh
so gotta get em -while they are hot - course dots and cecks will lalways
be around .

The Guest host for one of the Bella classes was
Sandra Evertson Saw her in a mag years ago and ordered her
first book - she also did some of the Memories series
and being a bookaholic had to have those also ,
The paper graphic was a download and then we interpreted the rest --
MY GIRL -- is truly soaring on the wings of creativity

she has her own little create nest at the bottom

One was achallenge on asilver tray - a nature
theme - I couldn't resist these faces and some of the
background papers and definitions for Vikki
this tray ws very small -so, I think i will use it on an
easel , The Memories tag made for me by
Vikki was perfect , I thought to
grace this sweet du0.

Finally the last one for today -- using the tray idea
I decided to use a small cream glass salad dish -
for this angel
, can't wait -- methinks -- many ideas for small
quick - Christmas plates - instead of cards - for next year ,
i get most from flea mkts - etc . in groups - I hand deliver only to
closest friends-- I usually make something similar in a very small frame
embellished inside frame and out to display at Christmas -
It is fun because some like vintage - some blingy
and some very primitive -- I love variety -
hence my blog name -- HOpe you had patience for this long post
Blessings Kathy

I love your plates (and am a proud owner of one due to the swap we did)! Looks like you've been busy and making wonderful creations at that!
