More Halloween doins "

Still playing with my Halloween ideas -- so many ideas -- not enough time --
One of my bloggy friends -- Karin --at "Creative chaos " has the cutest little boys -- They love it that their Mom is creating Halloween things -- and invented a new word --
"spookily " -- Saying they love it when she does spookily -- (visit her -- for the loveliest creations ever !!
I love that phrase -- So I am still creating -"spookily ' this weekend along with making -- Lambs -- with cardboard , stuffing and clothespins for the Mission children craft on Sunday !!-- What a combination !!lol - Ok gotta run __ Hubs and I are going out for breakfast -- Have a great weekend !!_
I am still celebrating my -B- DAy -- which was Tuesday -- out to lunch -then supper that day -- will need to go on a diet !- But the big celebration --is Sunday evening with a cookout at sons New home -- and no 2 Son's b- DAy is Monday -- WHat fun - Kathy - ga

Still working on swaps --

Still busy working on swaps -- tag swap mailed today - This cute girl was one I altered last year -- still need to use her this year I think -- but she is rather large so a little adjusting needed -now I need to finish the shadowbox
swap and then one more of ornaments and then all done for Halloween . But Christmas will be right on it's heels !!

First day of school pics

My sweet daughter sent me these pics of our sweet Grands " on their first day of school -- They are both so sweet -- Fun is a coming !!- They live in our same small town --so doubly blessed --all our children are within a few minutes of us . We are going to dinner with them , will be lots of fun tonight -- Of course we are proud grandparents -- They are very smart --in school and also have such a heart for God -- Their prayers amaze me .
Truly blessed !!! One is in middle school and one 5th -- grade -- Oh time is rushing by so fast !!-- Have a Blessed Weekend!! _ Kathy - ga ♥

Vintage Halloween Tags -- we are going orange !

Been doing a little creating -trying to get my vintage Halloween tag swap
things made and ready to mail . You who read my blog , know I am a tagaholic --
So this was so much fun -- I need to send 13 , I have about 10 completed and others ready to be assembled -- but I can never stop adding elements -- but i
am sure no one wants halloween items at Christmas -- so am trying to say "STOP " to myself -- Thought I would share a few -- Some graphics I print and use came from
Kris Hurst of Blissful Elements --love her and her art work -- waiting on cd Halloween 2 -Wow can't wait -check her blog too cute !!-- Also I add elements from other sources and also rubber stamping . Tomorrow will try to show my great finds at the Lakewood 400 -antique show -Hub and I went Saturday -- what fun !!

How great to win something --but I won a 300th post giveaway from one of my fav Bloggers -- Mrs "VIV " herself from vivs-whimsy.blogspot.com-- she makes beautiful things and has a heart of gold and is always good for a laugh -- Love her humor !!

Finally put my pics from the camera of my kids (son and DTR -in Love ) --first house they have owned -
They haven't moved in yet --getting packed up - Here are( H&J) at the house , catching a little shade -- my Hub and guys in action ? I guess--well supervising lol .It was a 3 day project to get all vines etc removed -The home had been vacant for several years and was so overgrown -it was 90 + all the days they worked . Their landscape friend will have ideas for the front plantings -We are so happy for them .

"Showers of Blessings "

Wow ! things never slow down here -- I ♥ that !! and Hub does too . With three grown(2 boys and 1 girl ) and married children and spouses and Two delightful Grands , who all live within 15 min .
There are always fun doings - from soccer games -to Watching my men kayak-yikes ! many prayers go up --they like to kayak in Whitewater and rock climb - even one of my sweet Dtrs -in LOVE is into that now . My other DTR - IN love has her own horse )-to fifteen people going to lunch on Sunday after church -- or the call - Let's meet for dessert at the Ice cream parlour. All are such a blessing to my HUb and I --
I am so proud of my children -- all special and accomplished in abilities endowed by God on them -- and they all serve him -- at our church -
THis week was such a Blessing -- our youngest son and wife bought their -first home --- A lovely house on two acres --near family , and friends - How fun that has been -- These are pics of the whole family , the Bride and Groom and one of our three children at their wedding in 2003 .Will post pics of house and share more later -- Blogging taking a back seat this week .

Now that I am back !!!

What a busy couple of weeks it has been . From Bible school - to vacation and
back - Lots of fun but busy and tiring - Still trying to play catch-up .
I don't have the cd yet from bible school - just the set was amazing -will post when i get it --from those who take better pics than me .
We went to Asheville N. C. to a beautiful cabin and then -had many
adventures from this place -- from concerts to lake boating .
We got to hear the contemporary Christian group - "Mercy Me " in concert with the mountains as backdrop -Too wonderful and many water adventures . will post a few -
If you have never toured THe Biltmore House -- it is wonderful - have been several times myself - but love to go with others to see their first reactions --
Already in the swing of Grands back to school today -- in several Halloween Swaps -- already - yikes it is stil in the 80's to 90 's here . Not exactly fall -
but lots of fun . This is our view from the cabin -- HUb and grandson on Lake Fontana - and granddtr and dtr. - and a view of the House and Mercy Me concert.
