MORE VALENTINES and EEK ! the bug --

In the midst of it all some of this went on


and a little bit more of that -- trying to get all my bloggy swaps finished



Just what you wanted - right someone complaining about being sick - we've had the bug here this week( including HUB and myself ) -even my grown children and sweet MOM to be daughter -in law -- she is doing better today -- so many prayers going up for her . It only lasts 24 hrs - Thank Goodness !!---

LOVE IS IN THE AIR ♥♥

I don't know about you - , but for this gal -(you know my vintage, shabby ,lacey, chintz side -Hmm need to do a blog about my chintz and other teacups , that I have collected for years sometimes )- I so love Valentines -- because my favorite colors are a mainstay in these -- have been involved in Teresa's zine -- and Amy Powers -- stitchin heart sampler today -- has sent me in a tailspin to stitch -- so will shortly be doing a supply run -

You know I am all about the pinks and reds -- so here is just a small glimpse of a few things and ornies , I have been creating for friends for Valentines -- had to step back from tags for a while ( lol well maybe for a day --rofl - )

Love these sweet images -- I have many images , but cannot pass up more of these -- especially when they are freebies -- Many are of the victorian era - and they probably would be amazed that their pictures are used to make Valentines - in 2010 -
In the same way , I have family photos -- I am going to show , with some of my
creations -also . This cream and gold creation really speaks to me and the children are so delightful -such scrumptious little faces .

Well busy day ahead -- need to mail , shop ,and work on Last elements of my big projects for church for training. Wednesday night -- plus finish up swap things - that are due out by the end of the month --
Have a good day - wow rained cats and dogs last night -- we were at a birthday celebration --gotta work on the pics to post -- and had to hunker down for a while -
we all got wet and , severe weather was called for , but everyone arrived safely

TAG challenge for KArd Krazy - "WHAT A DOLL ! "

AS most of my bloggy friends know -- I ♥♥♥- love making tag art --( I sign up for any tag swap I find -) I have tried to
figure out why I love it so much -- I like atc's with little sweet children on them also --but tend to make more tags -
THis week on KARD KRAZY _ blog -- Louise , who is a well know and published artist - issued her " Tag challenge Tuesday " to make a tag doll - (CHECK IT OUT __ AMAZING )
Well I already had the perfect tag to submit -- I have been enamoured with dolls ,
forever and made this last year, I do have a couple of this type reproduction doll for many years -- I also bought some frozen Charlotte dolls to do some art projects last year ( uh can we say not finished lol ) ,as well as graphics for this little sweetie -- I only made one tag and kept it for myself !! Love to put things that inspire me on my board in my art room

and of course like most chintzy girls -- I love lace and pom poms.--plus my love of words or music for the background .
Still working on an ornament swap and finishing a swap for "A SWAP FOR ALL SEASONS " so need to get to work ..
I really should be out and about -- will be in the 60's the next couple of days -then rain -- but ya know chores need to be done also --

Blessings and a Valentine

Whew !! -THis has been a busy week -- God is good -- several prayers answered --
Dtr and Youngest Son heard our baby's heatbeat and had a sonogram -- and she has been feeling less queasy -- so glad of that -- she is itty -bitty and has lost weight -- so -now she needs to eat a snack often and that helps -- wish I could -- but of course she is eating healthy and I am craving donuts and chips lol .
Hub is a gen contractor -- but God continues to send work -- very blessed.
in this economy .
Dtr is helping to prepare & host a Corporate meeting in another state for several days -- so
God is continuing to show his provosion for her and the children(my Grands )
-- and YIkes -- she was able to put in a bid on a House-( would be perfect for them -so I am hoping ) on Friday -- She feels if it is for them God will work it out --She will find out while she is gone if yea or nay .
If it doesn't work out , then it is not the one for them and God will provide .
Been busy with church ministry -working on an upcoming Launch and training in a new program , for church.
Finished and mailed my tag swap -- working on two others -- as well as
the Craft for the Mission children Sunday .
Got a Haircut and color -- feel like a new woman lol - Seriously - taking more time to be "ME " this year, as in Listening to GOD MORE !!!- seems like I am always asking -- for healing and blessings and for him to work in situations -but not enough time --JUST BEING STILL AND LISTENING AND KNOWING HE IS GOD - for his word to speak to me !! Healthier eating , Setting attainable goals - ya know have so many home projects (some will be for the spring ) and ART and organizing .
Pouring here today and YAHOO was 60 -yesterday -- I did some fun errands yesterday -- Had to get out and enjoy it while I could .

It's all about red-or pink !

TWO of my favorite colors -- and a glimpse of a few tags



I love to create Valentine art -- I can never decide my favorite
Valentine color -- red or Pink ???- and love cute -- but Vintage is my fav --
with Valentines you really can't go wrong - unless it is retro --and I lived in that
era lol -- so not ready to be as nostalgic --
Been working on a few swaps -- tags -- and a group doing an ornie swap , with some mighty talented girls -- wow so lucky here !
also a partner swap -- Idea is buckled down-and some things prepared -just not
completed yet -- but that is dueat the end of the Month -- But the tags will be mailed before Wed .
Well as stated in last posts -still organizing -- small steps -- will get it done --so each day , I am trying to set a time to get it done --
Most things take longer than expected -- so I will not say this will be finished
each day . Trying to set a schedule I can realistically follow - at least that is my plan . So much paper purging to do (not the pretty kind for art - just useless notes --etc and old paper work .
I like to start off my day with coffee with hub and a bit of news , then a quiet time -- God's priorities --for the day may not be mine) then early morning basic chores -- need to check e-mails - and - some time in tackling whaterver spot I am going to organize -- So that is the plan for today -- what helps you to keep on top of your to do list ???

TAKE AN ASPIRIN - CALL ME IN THE MORNING

Well as I was checking in on my blogggy friends and looking for a cure to my problem -- I found the answer !!! I knew it had a name --my problem that is --
and the old saying -- If you name it you can claim it !!--Was right in front of me -- and can you believe it -- the cuties -- sassafrassand lulu (dont ya love that name ) gave me the answer -- what i have is --well it started innocently enough with this cute pic --you know I am all about the cuteness of display -- and along the way


this happened in my art room -- and believe me --this is the part I can show ! it gets ugglier -near the epicenter of creating -- this is only the storage box cuteness ,I love --
I started hunting a solution because -to make my valentine swaps -- I had to find those things . while still wanting to do Christmas mode and not fully
cured of Halloween -delights either . A big jumble --
MS Sassy herself - said the problem is *** (I have long been this way electronically -- and now-- I KNOW !!!
**** I AM Organizationally CHallenged **** -who knew ? It does have a name --Is there a cure ??
WEll ,there is a pill , diet , book , infomercial .for everything under the sun --
SO I am determined -- to find the answer -- meanwhile HUB is carrying loads of stuff (not good stuff mind ya ) to the trash --or the donation place , as I am going thru - "STUFF "-- That is a start --but I am still looking for the miracle cure, while the cold weather(19 degrees here ) keeps me in (I am a southern gal ya know )and not shopping --( uh partly -don't need even a paper clip added here -- who bought all this --stuff ?? )
If ya know where to find it(the cure ) let me know ? my back and knees are saying owie .
P.s. -- found some stuff ,I don't even remember having - like a treasure hunt
sorta. -but that slows me down as I dream about new creations -- and too many categories to sort -( multi -media here )
OK , guess I am in a step program -- ist step _realize the problem -next STEP _ get off the computer and go to work !!!
