The main room -is so comfortable and warm - books abound here , with many comfortable chairs and places to relax with lamps positioned just right for reading ( my faVORITE THING ALWAYS )and also a table for a cup of coffee or iced sweet tea with a little mint (a southern thing !!) The staircase is amazing and the rustic elemets and the more traditional things work so well , and the colors are very bright and cheerful -- THe tin walls over the fireplace --give it such a great touch THe lamp table behind the sofa is probably a hundred or so years old and so lovely
truly a favorite ( i try not to covet this lol !!) the hand waxed patina -- gives it such a beautiful finish ' -- will show more later -- Have a blessed day -- K ♥

Kathy, that cabin looks so welcoming! I am loving your pictures! Reminds me of a cabin we rented a few years ago when we went to the smokey Mnt. in Tennesee. My favorite part was waking up at 5:30 each morning by myself and watching the sun rise and the birds emerge from sleep with my cup of coffee. AAaahhhhh, relaxing!
Hi... This is a wonderful cabin.... A angel with a lovely white or cream hankie would be beautiful... great idea..... I love seeing something and just doing my own thing with it.... Blessings...
