Hilton Head Girls - swept away

I was on vacation with these Girls - last week -- what fun we had -- This girls trip was just what we needed - A get away that was , Pool& Beach , Savannah -shopping -- late night movies -Relaxing at the pool - and did I say eating -- oh and shopping again lol !!! They are mostly Half my age -- But the old girl did well until the next pic lol --

This pic they entitled ( "Savannah -- Kathy Trying Not to Tumble Down the Steps on my Head "-- )They are steep in some places and narrow -- and this day, wet as it was drizzlin' in Savannah -- HUb and I have been several times -- and stay at the Mulberry INN- which is a walk across the street for access to River St , but there are many beautiful areas -- That for those who have been -It reminds you of Charleston -- very Historic and antebellum , WE stopped here for shopping -- and It is about 45 min to Hilton Head -Sc. from there . Can we say -- CAndy shop !!! They make world famous "PRALINES " and chocolates -- One of our girls is originally from New Orleans -and knows a thing or three about "Pralines --" so we tried them out -- -UH ! just for comparison purposes lol .(that's my story - AN I'M sticking to it !!
River Street is very quaint -- with great food , shopping and a view of the harbor
all the way down River st.

It was quite an adventure and lots of laugh and fun - While it still poured at home -- we had no rain once we reached Hilton Head -- So the pool and wonderful strawberry smoothies (non - alcoholic ) were delivered to us on trays( so spoiled ) -- we really wanted to stay a month !!-But our guys were coming to the condo in the next day or two for a 4 day golf outing . Much fun was had by all . So that is why I am behind on my swaps _YIkes !!
These girls are very special to my heart -- we have been friends for years and
- camp , vacation - (Even Disney world ) with our families --
I will dream of the warmth -- with the fall days just around the corner .
