MY SNOWMAN SWAP CREATIONS

My Snowman Swap partner , received her
package today -- What fun I had creating for her !
The box is one of my favorite things , as I have
a thing for collecting boxes . I loved making this
box and although you cannot see the lid in this pic
is of victorian ladies dressed for the winter

and can you believe it -- I SEWED _
you just don't know how amazing that is
In my day I learned and did lots of cross stitch ,
when that was the rage -- also took a class and learned
to do 25 different needlepoint stitches and made a pillow
-hmm also many yrs back took china painting classes -
30 years ago - no wonder I am so tired -lol
The little snow fellow is made of warm and natural
and so - sew easy . I loved it that i could download a
sewing pattern online . It was in a country style - but
I blinged him up for this swap.

I also sent one of my jingle fellows also

along with a packet of scrap goodies -
don't ya know , i just had to make a topper
for the goodie bag - and pics to
create with, and a little Santa hanger - for the tree

Now this little guy is not pink and green - the flash and irridescence
of the globe make it different his
scarf, and hat band are red and his mittens
are green and his star gold - He is also dimensional ,
with arm raised and his face is out from his body ,
also buttons on scarf and a metal snowflake .
I have made these for several years , he is out of paper and
hand made and colored -- I think i mentioned in an earlier
blog that I used to paint him on wood -
I still have not posted my favorite thing yet -
angels -- have been doing some -- also Teresa
McFAyden's zine has great ideas this time -- I
love the new ideas - will post hose when i finish
Still looking for a great shaker to complete -
Dawn's of Feathered Nest - tutorial -- so beautiful -
Ok gotta make a buttermilk pie - oh so yummy - and
a casserole for church tonight -- We are having our
church volunteer party - It is always so much fun
they entertain us too - so much talent in our church
Blessings , Kathy
