WEll for some reason blogger ate these pics I had loaded
that went with the post before this - Just read the other too
but all is correct as I type - for NOW ! --
I found another Snowperson that will look great with
my others -- he does have a hat on , the background was a little dark
and I love his big jingle bell -- Don't ya love his banner -
He is gazing upward -- hmm need to make something
with a star or snowflake falling down . I do have some of those
cream fabric ones -- maybe i will use the cream felt and cut the stars
with my sizzix -- can cut felt and a cardstock one at the same time for
stability -- It has 3 sizes on one die - then I can glitter and
diamond dust them -- for next year -- I love it when a plan comes together

I do love the white star and jingle wire - i found

Hmm really wanting to decorate with snow men now --
well who says snow is for --Christmas --
anyway -- here in the South - we have to take
snow ,however we can get it --lol - I have a blog friend --
that is decorating her mantel in snow things ,and with lots of
beautiful candle light - very talented artist - as she is
storing her Christmas dec. away .Maybe she will show us a pic ! .
OF course , she lives where there is a lot of snow -- and yikes. this year
dangerous Ice -- be careful all bloggy friends in the
cold climes.

Found a large bottlebrush tree too - hard to
find or were snapped up fast here

These large metal cookie cutterswith the red checked homespun
ribbons will look great in the other set of my double windows in the kitchen
, next Christmas - remember the ginger men -are taking over in there --
and I love simmering potpourri -- it smells so good - makes ya
want to eat cookies tho - someone gave me a new recipe -
hmm think it was my friend at -http://thecharmhouse.blogspot.com
She posted some great - recipes for dough ornaments -- very creative -
gotta look at her house and kitchen decorated for Christmas again .
as well as the cute kitchen of http://quillcottage.blogspot.com
Her gingermen and wreath and "SPecial PANTRY DOOR - ya gotta
see her pantry - too cute -- It is what I want when I grow up
LOL LOL -- her's is so cute inside -- too -- and she has a screen
door on it - don't miss her tutorials and " Her SPECIAL ADVENT " celebrations .
ALso -- http://sweetoldvintage.blogspot.com had wonderful inventive ideas . love her vintage look
in her decorating postings -- BLOGS ARE WONDERFUL -- now that Christmas rush is past
we can go around and revisit and take it all in ---I love that -- Like having great Decorating mags at hand
OK ,the tour of bloggy friend done for today -- my kitchen is
clean , not having to do dinner tonight , Hub has a meeting . So need to change into crafty clothes
glitter glue( I AM THE STICKLES QUEEN ) on my fav . chalkstripe wool pants -- would not be good lol -
I am a messy crafter , usually glue in my hair , ink on my nails
and that brown stuff on my face -- no that is my beauty mark lol
Blessings -- GO CREATE SOMETHING !!! and tell me about it !!
Kathy - ♥

I love the snowman...I love snowmen though I didn't put mine out this year :( I like to leave all my snow/winter things out past Christmas...to add a little "oomph" to the house.

Now, I'll go create something..if you will too!! :)

Happy New Year Kathy!

I love your new banner! I love the idea of decorating for winter, so many of our fun Christmas items can be used until we decide to dig out the hearts and cupids! I have a little winter scene on my dining table and plan to keep up until the end of the month or so. My house feels bare without all the Christmas fare. Have fun clipping, glittering, and gluing!
