Just a few Christmas tags for a swap . In the blog world of swapping , we have to get an early start -- I was sitting at the auto shop today , having a sticky valve replace ???? -whatever that is -- I so don't know about cars -- and that is ok by me LOL --- and had brought some Christmas design sheets to cut -- Someone asked --Isn't this early for Christmas ???--
WEll , I didn't mention that for the most part ! I was finished with Halloween and
had mailed a Christmas tag swap today ..
just a couple of views --These tag basis are the manila ones from Staples --
-- I haven't tried this yet -- but on a blog someone mentioned that Tim Holtz -- says in his classes to bend them to break the surface tension ?? for better ink adherence -- I will let you know when I do more stamping of the whole tag --
has anyone tried it ??? Let me know ??
Going to a fun scrapbook shop SAt for a crop -plus make and takes --They also do mixed media things -- as I don't scrapbook , but use tons of scrapping supplies .
They have had some mixed media classes and want to do more .
I just wish we had something nearer -- an hour drive one way is not close --
So it is hard to keep up with the latest --supplies -
I live near Atlanta -- and it is still a challenge --Guess some of you may have to drive farther for supplies or order it all .

great tags Kathy. I dont scrap book either but use alot of the paper and embellishments in other projects! My daughters are scrap bookers and are always trying to convince me to do it.. but I just know the obsession it would create in me and I dont have room for another obsession!!
As for driving an hour .... eiy yie yie! I'm with ya. We have to travel an hour to Rochester or to buffalo. sometimes I wish I lived closer, but wouldnt trade where I live for anything. I love the country!

Wow! Your tags look great! I'm already starting my Christmas shopping so Christmas is right there in the back of my mind lol.
The swappers are going to LOVE getting one of those tags for sure!
