Christmas is a coming and the geese are getting fat -- la la la la -la la la !
Ok , that is as much as I know of that song --umm something I think -about an old man's hat -- rofl - not sure -- but I truly am thinking of Christmas -- wow love Halloween , but Christmas is my fav --
If you are looking for a cute swap == VIV _ of {Vivs-whimsy.blogspot.com }-- is having an " Elf Swap " -- It might be right up your alley --and MS VIV is one of the best hostess and blog friends ever -- I have done several each year for the last three -- so check it out --

THis is a pic I took last year -- just have to review -- as I didn't make but a couple of these last year to send out . As you can see I love vintage and cutie pie girls --
I am heating the oven for molded santa faces with polymer clay -- So gears are really changing -- That is what I am loving about creating -- so many wonderful
blogs with artist who challenge and inspire you -- I used to make a limited amount of SAntas -- 24 in tall --(when I did my art shows ) with hand molded faces --
I always put on wool long coats with a hood - old world style with fur -- or quilted coats , from old rescued quilts -- ( uh forgot to mention -- I had someone else sew them -- even tho straight stitch is within my capabilities and not my craft of choice --I so admire those like VIV and Dawn and others who are so creative that way . I hand made the toys for their sacks and purchased bells etc and real curly wool for beards . I had to focus --on the other parts for the 10 shows we were in , beginning in late Sept and ending the 2nd week of Dec. ( It really was an all year endeavor to get ready -as several of these shows drew thousands from several states . WOW, I could turn out a lot in a day -- wish I could get that mojo back again . Shows are such hard work -but so rewarding --Even more so than the money , was meeting those who liked what I created -- I love meeting people -- and I was always thankful and amazed -- that someone would pay money for my creations. So each year I wanted to have fresh ideas for my returning customers ( GOurds were another fav to Paint )-- and I truly have very little of any of those creations myself .
OK that is just a walk down memory lane --( will pull those pics out and try to scan --- Those were the days before digital -- and so none on my computer.
It really seems like yesterday , but was about 12 years ago .
Ok oven is right -- need to put the bead eyes in -- stay tuned -- they will have to have Santa blush etc -- keeping my fingers crossed here , that i can still do it .
Have a great weekend -- kathy ♥- ga

Hi Kathy,
"Christmas Is Coming" is one of my favorite holiday songs, here is how it goes . . .
"Christmas is coming,
The goose is getting fat,
Please put a penny in the old man's hat.
If you haven't got a penny, then a ha' penny will do.
If you haven't got a ha' penny may God bless you!"

I recently took part in Pat's Christmas tag swap and was soooo happy to receive one of your fantastic tags!!! :)
Don't know what you used to make the snowlike texture on the tag, but it is wonderful!
Keep up your Christmas spirit!
